BRING YOUR SUPERPOWERS INTO THE WORLD

When you’re feeling overwhelmed with activity, an easy way of connecting to the present moment is through your breath. Take a deep breath in over 4 seconds… now exhale over 4 seconds. And repeat. In just 16 seconds you connected to a sliver of nothingness that is neither a breath in nor a breath out. That space between the inhale and exhale is pure present moment… no activity.

Before you act on or reply to a difficult situation, reach for SODA.

Stop. Observe. Detach. Awaken.

Ask yourself, “What would the best version of me do right now?” And step into your best version. Then, breathe in deeply to the count of 4, then out to the count of 4. Repeat.

When we recognize that change is inevitable, that change is like breath, we can release some of our control. Like the breath and the tides, change comes and goes. Life will never remain static. It will continue to ebb and flow until we leave this Earth realm. Rather than resisting the natural fluctuations of existence, it is best to ride the wave, take the journey, and embrace life with full acceptance.

Make gratitude a part of your every day. Science has shown that people with gratitude practices live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. Try keeping a gratitude jar and drop into it one thing (or someone’s name) each day that you are grateful for.

What energy is most dominant in your life and what can you do to level up?

Today, honor every person’s needs you encounter by silently reciting to yourself, “Namaste: I honor the light in you – which is also in me. And when you are in that space and I am in that space… we are one.
