How to Gain Confidence in your Art.

Writer's picture: Deborah RDeborah R

1️⃣ Paint, Paint, Paint!  Fear fades when you get to work. Dive into your materials—whether mixed media, oil, or experimenting with stable vs. unstable materials. Doing the lessons, not just watching, helps you discover what you love, refine your process, and develop authentic expression.

2️⃣ Stay Motivated & Persistent! Art takes determination, stubbornness, and a big-picture mindset. Push through creative blocks by building a toolbox—journal, browse inspiration, study master artists, or post motivating signs in your studio. The more you persevere, the easier the process becomes.

3️⃣ Be a Lifelong Learner! Keep exploring new materials, techniques, and artists. Stay curious, experiment fearlessly, and remember—success comes with sustained effort and an open mind.
